Jenean Stone
Jenean Stone is a
photographer with an eclectic collection of
photographs. Through years of photographing, she has “caught the images”
of landscapes, animals, wildflowers, ephemera, and human interest.
She lived in Indianapolis
42 years where she and her husband, John
Fulton, had their own art and photography business. For a number of years
they
participated in Art Fairs in the Midwest and Florida. After John died in
1991 she
continued the photography business.
She came to Black
Mountain
six years ago when she married
Pablo Stone. They live in Christmount where she has found an abundance of
subject matter to photograph. She immediately sought out a way to continue her
interest in photography and the Swannanoa Valley Fine Arts League gave her an
outlet to show her work.
She is treasurer of Sourwood Gallery and actively
participates in its
activities. She is currently doing only digital photography and makes her
own
prints, matting and framing.
