Jill Sharp

Jill Sharp was born in Sevierville, Tennessee but has lived in Black Mountain for almost 9 years. She attended Mars Hill College and received her Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art and English. Her preferred medium is oil paint though she also enjoys acrylic, graphite and charcoal. She is also working with watercolors and pastels.

More than anything else she enjoys painting animals, both pets and wildlife, especially horses. Recently, she's begun to practice with landscapes as well and she hope to widen her subject matter further.

Jill is open for portrait commissions. Portraits can be done in oil, graphite or charcoal. Jill can be contacted by email at Marbletoast@bellsouth.net.
