Ida O'Connell

A world traveler, now retired and living in Black Mountain, NC. Ida specializes is oils.  "There is much to learn, but experimentation leading to success or failure is an exciting and continuous process."

Carol Goodling

Carol started drawing and painting as a child and continued into her adult years. Marriage and children took priority for many years. In 1986 she found her paints in a closet and began a painting of her son and his and his truck. Over the past few years Carol has portraits and still life and now finds it difficult to put the paints down. Carol continues to take classes and to learn new things.

Jill Sharp

Jill Sharp attended Mars Hill College and received her Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art and English. Her preferred medium is oil paint though she also enjoys acrylic, graphite and charcoal. She is also working with watercolors and pastels. More than anything else she enjoys painting animals, both pets and wildlife, especially horses.

Ann Whisenant

Her watercolors are clean, crisp and softer in tone. Her works range from large geometric abstracts to simple more realistic landscapes.
