Denise Richard Geiger
Denise Richard Geiger completed her Liberal Arts education in Zurich, Switzerland and then studied art for 5 years with distinguished artist Karl Weber (1899-1978). The year 1952 was spent in England where she took classes at the London Academy of Arts. Since 1956, she has resided in the United States where she raised her family with her husband Joseph Geiger.
During these years she developed a career as a minister and clinical counselor. She also continued to maintain an art studio. Now retired, Ms. Geiger dedicated her time to her art and continues to travel regularly to Switzerland and to France where she likes to immerse herself especially in the landscape and art world of the Province. She now resides in Black Mountain. Ms. Geiger works in mixed media with oils, pastels and ink drawings.
