Katrina Bass
Katrina Bass grew up in a remote area of Yancy County called "Bee Log" in the Appalachian mountains. Her Grandmother taught her to crochet as a child and she has applied those techniques to jewelry making.
Katrina thoroughly enjoys crocheting with colored wire and fibers. She also enjoys making her own findings and is very much interested in technique and design.
Recently she has been deeply involved with coral fringe techniques and finds bead weaving relaxing and fun. Katrina also has an interest in Native American and South American techniques as well as Russian techniques.
" I never knew there were so many stitches and variations. I'm sure there are more than enough to keep me challenged and busy for a long time."
