In 2006 Beverly completed the painting program at St. Petersburg College in Florida. Her work was displayed at various venues and won several art contests.
She was honored by the College as an outstanding student in 2005. She participated in five student art shows located in the Leppa Rattner Museum of Modern Art. Although the majority of her work is with acrylic paint on acid free paper, she will at times also include watercolor and a bit of ink.
Elizabeth Lovejoy lives in Black Mountain where she writes a column for the Black Mountain News. From time to time she also reads her commentaries on public radio.
She enjoys drawing vignettes of the local scene, paints pictures, lives in hope that the bridge goddess will look kindly upon her cards and thanks her lucky stars for the opportunity to live in the beautiful mountains of North Carolina.
